Manifesting Abundance: My 2026 Word of the Year and the Power of the Sun Tarot Card

The Sun Card, Abundance & A Little Manifesting Magic

This post might be a little woo woo… but I’ve learned to lean into the things that feel right for my soul.

One of my favorite tarot cards is The Sun. ☀️

The Sun card represents joy, clarity, warmth, and abundance. It symbolizes a season where things begin to grow, where the hard work starts to bloom, and where life feels bright and full of possibility. It’s a card that reminds us that good things are not only possible — they’re meant for us.

And that’s exactly why my word for 2026 is abundance.

Abundance in health.

Abundance in wealth.

Abundance in happiness.

Abundance in love.

I want my life to feel full — full of good things, meaningful moments, and opportunities that align with the life I’m building.

One of my favorite people to listen to when it comes to mindset and growth is Rachel Hollis.

If you were around during the 2018 Girl, Wash Your Face era, you probably know exactly what I’m talking about. I still listen to her podcast all the time. In my opinion, she’s kind of the OG boss babe. If you’re a female entrepreneur trying to grow the life you want while navigating whatever season of motherhood you’re in — she’s your girl.

One practice she talks about all the time is something I’ve done on and off for nearly 10 years now.

Every day, you write down 10 goals or dreams as if they’ve already happened.

For example:

I am a successful business owner.

I am a present and loving mother.

I live a life filled with abundance.

It sounds simple, but this practice is really the heart of manifesting.

And yes… I know manifesting can sound a little woo woo.

But I truly believe that what you put out into the universe matters. When you clearly say what you want, your brain starts looking for opportunities that help you get there. You begin to notice doors opening that you might have walked past before.

I believe the universe meets you halfway.

And I believe this because I have journals and journals and journals filled with goals that once felt impossible.

Ten years ago I wrote every single day that I wanted to be a mother.

It took time.

It took patience.

It took a lot of money and doctors appointments (IVF)

But today I have three beautiful babies.

I also wrote every day that I wanted to be self-employed and run my own business.

And now here I am — running two businesses.

The funny thing about manifesting is that life rarely unfolds exactly how you imagined it would. The timeline looks different. The path changes. Opportunities show up in unexpected ways.

But when you stay open to them, amazing things can happen.

So my goals for 2026 are all about abundance.

They’re about building this next chapter of life after all the changes 2025 brought.

And I’m excited to look back 10 years from now and see which of today’s dreams became reality.

Another small practice I’ve added to my mornings is writing down three things I’m grateful for.

The rule is that they have to be small things that happened within the last 24 hours.

Not big life milestones — little moments.

A baby giggle.

A warm cup of coffee.

A quiet moment before the house wakes up.

It forces me to look for joy in the middle of our busy life.

Because abundance isn’t just the big dreams.

Sometimes abundance is simply realizing how much goodness is already surrounding you.
